The Rubber Ball in New York is a locale party and latex promotion event that has been developed and promoted by the nyrenegades [1] that has been ongoing since at least 2005 where it has been hosted by locale fetish notable The Baroness. The event is mostly a one day event that cumilates in a graded costume event termed as Miss Rubber World where individuals and couples are awarded for prizes from some of the top latex/rubber designers and retailers around the world. Originally it was held at Bacchus Studios but has since relocated.

The 2008 Rubber Ball and Miss Rubber World contest is scheduled to occur on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at club Rebel in New York City.

The 2009 Rubber Ball and Miss Rubber World 2009 Contest is currently scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 18th (Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend) at Rebel, 251 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue in NYC!
