Perhaps eating less meat is one of your New Year’s resolutions. If so, you’re in very sexy company! Our good friend Ancilla Tilia was recently voted Holland’s Sexiest Vegetarian by visitors to the charity Wakker Dier (Official site in Dutch | Wikipedia entry).
Says Ancilla: I’m so deliriously happy because not only is it an honour to have won but this election has been organised by a charity (wakker dier - awake animal) that has my full support and admiration.
Being a vegetarian in a Northern European country is not a very easy thing to be, what with the centuries of meaty national dishes and traditions, but Ancilla remains committed to her decision not to eat animals.
