Kink in the Caribbean 2004 Report
 A week of rubber, sandy beaches, sword fighting classes, kinky karaoke, boundless fun and world renowned top fetish models... what could be better than that? Perhaps five unlimited open bars, shiny rubber for days and a sunset that is to DIE for! Put them all together and you have Kink in the Caribbean. The fetish realm's fastest growing, most exclusive fetish party extravaganza. Attended by some of the most well-known fetish personalities from around the globe, Kink in the Caribbean promises to be a non-stop, wall-to-wall kink fest that was definitely not for the meek.
This was my first time going (but definitely not the last) and I had no clue what to expect. It's held at the Hedonism III resort located in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. I assure you it couldn't be held at a more ideal site. Throughout the year the resort seems to be populated by droves of horny, wife-swapping swingers, but I believe the swingers peacefully coexisted with their new kinky bdsm & rubber loving neighbours. There are numerous activities that the resort schedules each day to keep us entertained, but the organizers of Kink in the Caribbean had more than enough planned to keep we heathens busy (as if day-to-night self indulgence wouldn't be enough!!) .
 But enough of the resort, let's talk about the RUBBER! For such a diverse group of kinksters, I fully anticipated to see all sorts of kinks on parade. I was ASTOUNDED at how many rubber lovers there were in attendance. The Jamaican sun was very warm yet it did not deter me, nor anyone else in the least from donning our favourite fetish material. The hotter the better and we wore our rubber like badges of honour! MUCH to the delight of the swingers no doubt.
There were workshops (two presented by yours truly), never ending photo shoots, a disco, a decently equipped dungeon, daily shopping opportunities with such names as Paul C Leather, Absolute Danny, and Whiplash USA to name a few. I can't forget to mention the many themed parties, phenomenal performances, and stellar fashion shows. If someone went to kink and didn't enjoy themselves, then dammit something is SERIOUSLY wrong with them and evil Rubber Nurse Ebony Fetish Goddess needs to check their pulse to see if they're still ALIVE.
I've decided to make a brief day to day list of the goings-on that took place that week. Now true, assuredly I will leave off something cool that happened. I was either asleep from being overstimulated or I was off having fun somewhere else. The neat thing about this holiday was that so many things were planned that undoubtedly there would be something that appealed to someone at some time.. or once again, like I previously said,.. SOMEthing is wrong with them. So let's start with day one.. shall we?
Saturday, 6 November
 Most of us arrived on this day. The bus ride to the resort is a wee bit long, however it provides a weary traveler with the opportunity to simply relax and take in the Jamaican countryside. There is also a stop off along the way for a rest break and a bit of shopping. Things are a bit more laid back here, after all, it IS Jamaica mon!! In true 'Kink' fashion there was a party scheduled that evening. This was the 'Sunset Fetish Dress Cocktail' party- more of a mixer for people to sort of unwind and get acclimated to the environment. This was a great opportunity to just stand, mingle with people and watch the breathtaking Jamaican sunset. After the party there was a nice dinner in the courtyard area of the resort near the 'prude' bar (as opposed to the 'nude' bar.) Dinner fare was classic Jamaican cuisine.
Sunday, 7 November
 On this day, author Anna Rose gave a meet & greet to showcase her book "My Love" Diary of a Loving SM Relationship. This book chronicles Anna's journey through bdsm with her Master and all pictures in the book were taken by him. Sword fighter Jonathan gave daily sword fighting classes and today was no different. These classes lasted about an hour and featured chivalry, swordsmanship and the art of staging a sword fighting scene.
There was a sunset cruise scheduled, but sadly the weather was too foul for us to go out on the boat so we were sort of left hanging with that one. But like I said, it's Jamaica MON!! and the weather changes dramatically so go with the flow- plus if you're wearing rubber then brief spells of foul weather is not much of a concern since rubber is waterproof!! There was also a meet and greet of Bianca Beauchamp that lasted 1.5 hours in the piano bar earlier.
 Tonight was the night of the Paul C Leather fashion show. I was lucky enough to be asked to participate in this fashion show and it was phenomenal. Belgium Marc got many nice pictures and I'm sure I'll be able to share some of those shortly. Bianca Beauchamp, Mistress Gemini, Myself, Brandy Chain Goddess as well as many other lovely fetish models were featured for this evening. It showcased the contemporary and custom designs of this magnificent corsettier and leathersmith.
Later that night there was yet another theme party -'Paradise Bound' which showcased a slave auction. We were plied with 'kink dollars' in our orientation packets with which to buy slaves. This was TRULY fun! I've never had the chance to bid on slaves before, but I ended up outbidding another woman for control of a nice, fresh virgin piece of slave meat for the evening (and into the next day.) Later that night I took him to the Dungeon to work him over a bit. :: wink wink ::
Monday, 8 November
 This day was very interesting. Aside from the standard workshops available to instruct attendees on everything from Latex Mummification to Predicament Bondage, this was the day we had the K5 Kamikaze Water Slide Team! The resort has a very fast water slide that just begs for you to go down naked or even better.. in FULL rubber. People were going down in straight jackets, inflatable body bags, gas masks, rubber hobble skirts with corsets (ok so that was me) and just about anything else you can think of. I think next year we should have a panel of judges on the side of the pool to hold up numbers to rate each person's entry into the pool.  Perhaps entrants can be judged based on gracefulness (or lack thereof) or the outrageousness of the costumes. Hmm, well it's a thought nonetheless. After we got all dried off and rested, a wonderful buffet-style dinner was served on the beach followed by the "Tokyo Decadence Party" which was held in the disco. This party was a ! parade of imaginative costumes of all materials. Geisha girls, kimonos galore and anything else "made in Japan." With the setting of the sun, people who normally during the day were rather low-key always seemed to come out of their shells and dressed to impress for the themed parties.
Tuesday, 9 November
 This day featured a corset fitting workshop, a great Flogging Technique workshop given by Mistress Gemini as well as a high flying Suspension Rope Bondage demonstration/workshop given by rope man extraordinaire Lew Reubens. Dinner was served in the main dining room that evening just prior to the Absolute Danny fashion show which was absolutely amazing! Later that evening, after the fashion show, was my favourite party of the whole week. Now true, I'm a bit partial to beaches and beach parties, but this one was utterly mind-blowing. "The Apocalypso Now Party" just blew my mind. There was a wonderful silks demonstration by Brandy Chain Goddess. This contortionist display was followed by fire shows, fire eating.. fire twirling.. and still more fire. The biggest focal point on the beach was the huge bon fire which stayed burning all thr! oughout the night. The evening was seemingly cut short by a quick moving rain which drove the less hearty amongst us indoors. That's when the fun REALLY started. The group that was left behind began a bit of fire play. Definitely, hands down, my favourite evening.
Wednesday, 10 November
 Today we got a break as it was a "free" day. Yes, can you believe it, they have to MAKE you stop having fun!! But really, this day is more or less for letting people take a much needed breather and just relax a minute to enjoy the resort without feeling like you"re missing something. The jam packed schedule can be a lot to handle for someone to contend with, especially first timers or people whom are not used to flat out off the wall partying. Now true, I'm not a stranger to partying, but that week just drained the life out of me.. LITERALLY! There was a boat excursion to Jamaica's #1 tourist attraction - Dunn's River Falls today, but sadly the weather was too choppy to proceed. People wanting to go to the falls anyway were encouraged to take a bus over to the falls that the resort had arranged. I took this trip and it was so much fun. But be prepared to get wet!! Next year I want to scale the falls in one of my old catsuits that I don't care about very much, because! I fell a LOT. Later in the evening, Whiplash USA put on a fashion show, and there was the CA-LICK-U-LA's Xtravaganza on the Sunset Deck. Once again, there was a litany of well dressed folks and impressive costumes.
Thursday, 11 November
 'Advanced Rope Suspension Bondage', 'Erotic Breathplay' and J-Lube wrestling..hmm.. sounds like a full card right? That wasn't the HALF of it. Today we took over the 'quad pool' at the resort. Rubber mermaids, inflatable rubber straight jackets, mummified folks floating around on air floaties and over-water suspension bondage. Yes this was a pool party KINK in the Caribbean style!! I'm sure the resort patrons got a kick out of this one. It was so funny how many non "Kink" resort people approached me later in the evening- well into the next day- to talk about this party and what they saw there (and to compliment me on my rubber mermaid tail.)
 Apparently this is the party that just blew their minds. OK, not apparently.. I KNOW this was the party that blew everyone's mind. We pretty much had full run of the pool and the swingers sort of stayed out of the pool and let us do our thing while watching gleefully the whole time. This party comes in at a close second to my favourite party of the trip. I finally got to be my rubber mermaid and sit on a blue tile lily pad and observe everyone have fun. The only bad thing about this day was that the next day was Friday and soon our week of hedonistic delights would be over. Much later that evening there was Kinky Karaoke in the piano bar. Sun, fun and bad singing.. what could be better?
Friday, 12 November
 Sadly, this was the last day of fun for most of us. A good number of people decided to remain at the resort for several days longer. I'm sure this was so they could unwind before going back home all kinky, fetished-out and wired up. Today wasn't TOO jam packed with things to do as most people would be busy packing. There were some great demonstrations and workshops today as well as a great show entitled "Forbidden Fruit." After this show was the Hedonism 3 Fetish Ball (hmm.. no doubt inspired by us.) I primarily slept through this night, so honestly I can't really give a play-by-play of this evening because hey, I had to have my fun too.
Saturday, 13 November
Regretfully this was the last day of the official event. However like I said, many chose to remain at the resort for several days past the event. Check-out was at 12 pm, but the resort was rather lenient about strict check out times. I'm sure anything TOO much beyond the time of check out would be charged to the room. I honestly didn"t want to go home. I know I"m friendly and I get along with people quickly, but you really do form bonds here. The resort staff begins to remember you, or perhaps you may meet a new kinky play partner here. Not to mention the feeling of camaraderie one feels after seeing the same faces for a week.
 All in all this was TOTALLY the vacation of a lifetime. If nudity, reckless abandonment, rubber, fetishes, sex, and anything else the Bible warns you against doing, is NOT in your repertoire of fun.. PLEASE don't attend Kink in the Caribbean 6- you won't have a stitch of fun. BUT, if letting yourself go, sun, naked bodies, rubber vixens, kinky cohorts and literally NON STOP food, drinks and bizarre fun are your cup of tea, then by ALL means book your ticket now or as soon as they go on sale. I can honestly say this is the most fun I've had and not been arrested.
Let yourself go..it IS Jamaica you know!! And like the bus driver said when we pulled into the resort... "whateva you do in Jamaica mon..stays in Jamaica mon!"
