The German Fetish Ball Weekend has always been one of my favorite events. The main reasons being Berlin's devisity, good fetish parties and many friends attend the event. So it was with great expectations that I arrived to Berlin early Saturday morning.
This year I choose only to attend the Saturday and Sunday events. I have to admit that three party nights in a row is too much for me. I rather go two days and have a great time, than go 3 days and be totally busted.
I stayed at the Ibis Hotel just 800 m from Potsdamer Platz. Not a fancy hotel, but cheap, clean and 24/7 service.
The first thing I did was to check out the German Fetish Fair. The venue of the fair was a old warehouse close to the river Spree on the east side of Berlin.
The warehouse was very large compared to the previous years and windows in the roof made it bright and friendly. There was two negatives about the venue. First the floor, which was really rough; it was dirty with dust and clinged to the latex. Second, drops of water/condensation was dripping from the ceiling. Still I liked this venue better that the one last year.
There was plenty to see! The latex fashion industry was strongly representated by BlackStyle, Fetish Universe, Demask, Schwarze Mode, Bodycult, Bondinage, Rubbermagic, Breathless, Torture Garden Clothing, Latex-Line and Fantastic Rubber.
The danish whip makers, Whipcraft, revealed their latest collection, some of which were made with with latex snares. I loved the short medical whip with a little red cross on the white handle... "Bend over, it's time for your medicine! Wack! Wack! Wack!". The detail and finish of Whipcraft's whips is astonishing... The same goes for the price.
Other points of interest was the skillful Berli-Gum with their heavy latex toys and masks. There was an art zone by Secret Magazine with fetish photo and artwork on display all over the fair. The US magazine "Buckle" also seemed petty interesting and worth checking out.
There were multiple small fashion shows at the fair. I watched the one by Marquis, which they showed off their new cute football uniforms. The show turned into a mayhem when the four barefooted latex wearing models were given a football by the referee, also latex. It only took the models seconds to send the football hurtling towards the audience in great speed. Thank god only a few drinks were spilled and not some expensive camera broken.
I ran into a lot of friends at the fair, here is a few of them: Marcus and Susann from Sweden also known for "a thing for rubber," my dear friend, the beautiful Gixxi, webmistress of Crazy-Rubber & Friends, a Canadian guy, well known online as Observer, and the multi talented Dark-Wing Zero.
I think it was a good fair, the location was maybe not perfect, but the items on display was top of the line and the selection was great!

Saturday night I went to the
Fetish Guerilla's Revolution! pre-party, hold at a venue called "Pulp Mansion" near Alxanders Plaz in east Berlin. The "Pulp Mansion" turned out to be a club located in a old underground complex with two big rooms with small stages, a small bar, a lounge room and a fully equipped playroom/dungeon in the basement. I actually heard that the place used to be a bakery. Everything had a authentic dirty/used look and was perfect for the evening.

There was multiple performances and fashion shows during the night. Berlin's own Sawage Wear showed of their latest latex creations, a cool mix of classical cuts mixed with futuristic looks.
Fraeulein Ehrhard did a different kind of fashion show where her models was dancing on the dance floors in pairs. So I finally got to meet Katja Ehrhard in person, one of my favorite latex designers.
I have a blast at the Revolution! pre-party! Sorry if you missed it!

Sunday morning it was time for the
Crazy Rubber & Friends annual fetish brunch, there seems to attract more and more people each year. Over fifty people (and two ferrets!) turned up, some dressed in latex, others in regular clothing. I had a excellent brunch, really good coffee and enjoyed the company of like minded people.
After the brunch, I headed over to the Matrix club together with
Marcus and Susann, for the
NoPainNoGain fashion show rehearsals. Upon arrival we learned that the rehearsals was behind schedule, due the fact that the stage was still under construction and the DJ was late!

Nobody from Xklusiv was around to coordinate the chaos, so the designers just got more and more stressed and annoyed too. We had to wait for three hours before it was our turn.
After the rehearsals, I grabbed a taxi and when over to the Expo, 30 min before they closed, for some last minute shopping.

Saturday evening I returned to the Matrix club for the main event, the German Fetish Ball. Already loads of people has arrived and the place was filling up quickly.
As the previous years, different music was played in each of the Matrix's separate dance floors. There was the gothic/80'ties dance floor, Electro House & Pop dance floor and the cool jazz lounge, just as last year. New this year where the Torture Garden dance floor, with the DJs and performers from London, and a latin floor, with palms trees and a large swimmingpool!

A hour before the show started, I went backstage to get ready for the fashion show. Back stage was really packed and there was not much room. Some people was having their last minute make-up done, others was struggling getting into their assigned latex creations and some was ready to go.
For the
NoPainNoGain show I was modeling a nice black latex suit with a brown shirt with white collar/french cuff, really nicely done! Ken (NoPainNoGain),
Anna Phobia,
Marcus, Susann,
Kittie Klaw,
Kumi and
Ms Von Livid was also getting ready.

The lovely
Rubberella was mistress of ceremony and did a great job presenting the different shows and performances. Beside
NoPainNoGain there where fashion shows by
Breathless,
Pretty Pervy,
Torture Garden Clothing,
Fetish Universe and
TO.m.TO Berlin. There was preformances by
Rubberella,
Kittie Klaw and
Rubber Sisters.
Pretty Pervy's line up of amazing inflatable suits took the first price for being the most bizarre and fun! It's not everyday you see inflatable pigs performing a bizarre dance on stage.
Torture Garden Clothing showed some items from their upcoming new collection, really cool!

Finally the time arrived for our show. I was a little nevus as I walked in together with Kumi and Anna in the first section, but everything worked out nicely. After the show we had a small party back stage, celebrating a successful show. Everyone was happy.
The rest of the night was a mix of dancing, drinking and have fun. For me the weekend ended around five o'clock in the morning, when I took a taxi back to my hotel. Another fetish weekend in Berlin was over... But there is many more to come!
