I'm currently in Berlin, attending the German Fetish Ball weekend. I arrived Thursday night together with MissFuzzyBunny and Ken. We are staying at a hostel called Generator with a huge load of youngsters.
We spent most of the Friday touring the tourist attractions of Berlin. Berlin is a quite different and diverse city due to all the booming during the second world war and the aftermath. There are new towering buildings right next to ruins of old houses and trees everywhere.
In the evening we teamed up with Shiny Moniree and her boyfriend Tom. A really sweet couple from Austria, that I got to know at last years RubberBall.
Pre-party!

Friday night, we went to a pre-party at a club called Big Eden. It's a regular fetish club with a little stage and a "play land". There place was almost empty when we arrived and the club was not even close to full party peeked at 2 pm.
I noticed that the culture here is more hardcore that I know from other places. The main show at the club confirmed that; gay bdsm play, bondage, injection and needle torture! Bloody stuff! Not for the faint hearted!
The latex fashion seen here (with some expectations of course) are not as fashionable here. Very simple designs and "heavy rubber" tends to be the main trend. I wore my green army pants, transparent t-shirt and New Rock shoes.
German Fetish Fair!

Saturday we visited the German Fetish Fair. The venue was a really cool old factory building in three levels. The basement floor was filled with fetish artworks and photos. The main floor with around 21 exhibitors and a little stage. On the last floor there was a restaurant where the visitors could get refreshments and hang out.
There was a nice range of latex designers among the exhibitors.
Tiberius,
HW-Design,
Bondinage,
Rubber's Finest and
Torture Garden Clothing had some really great stuff on show.
BodyCult really stood out with a great selection of clothing featuring in their unique latex textures and patterns. Did you know that they actually make the latex sheets themselves? Wicked! The rest of the exhibitors was various stores, studios, artists, book publishers and erotic toys makers.
There was some small performance shows and events at the stage during the afternoon. Most of my time was spend networking with designers and online friends. Among others I talked to
Gixxi,
Simon,
Manuella,
Alexander,
Luci Fire,
Sway,
Valentina,
Helen,
Sandra,
Tim and
Tina. I had great time and took a lot of photos!
Crazy Rubber Friends Meet-up!
Crazy Rubber Friends Community had arranged a brunch meet-up for its members, so Sunday morning we headed for a café in East Berlin called Gaslight Poetry.
We arrived at 11:30 am and there was already a little crowd of 12 people around two tables in the café. Some in fetish attire and others (myself included) were wearing regular clothing. We said hi to the others, gapped a table, ordered some drinks and dived into a luxurious 6 euro brunch buffet. The buffet was really great! There was white and black bread, boiled eggs, yogurts, serials, salmon, vegetables, sausages, scrambled eggs, soup, pudding and fruits.

Soon after, others joined our table and the total number of people quickly grew to around 30. Everybody was very friendly and very open. I talked to Gixxi about the internet and websites, chatted about the fetish culture differences of Germany, Denmark and England with MasterEmit, coming out and first time issues with a nice young couple.
Gixxi took a whole lot of photos of us all, but first she had asked everybody if it was ok. Some of the others from our team went home after a few hours to prepare for a photo session, but Ken and I stayed at the Café until 4 pm. We all had a great time and got some new friends!
Thank you
Crazy Rubber Friends!
German Fetish Ball 2004!

The time of the Ball had finally arrived! I dressed from neck to toe in slick black latex. Boxers, jeans, long sleeve t-shirt and my favourite long latex "Neo" coat. I took a taxi to the Ball venue, a place called the Matrix. There were already a fair amount of people, when I arrived at 9:45 pm. The venue there where located under a U-bahn station, seemed very large and very well fitted for fetish parties. It had two coatrooms, two lunges, five bars, three separate dance floors, a long T-shaped stage and a play room for couples.

The first people I ran into where Mike and his pretty girlfriend from Denmark. We talked for a wile and went off together the main dance floor and stage to drink beer and watch the new guests there was arriving. I said hi to some of the new friends from the brunch earlier today and got myself a beer. Imagine my surprise and delight when I noticed that 90% of the guests arriving was wearing latex!

After an hour the fashion shows was about to begin. The hostesses,
Lucifire and
Luci van Org, went on the stage and welcomed everybody to the Ball and told us about the upcoming shows.

Soon after
BodyCult stepped onto the catwalk and dazzled us all with a splendid playful show with stunning female and male models wrapped it beautiful latex creations.
After the show I ran into the rest of the gang.
MissFuzzyBunny was wearing her black Pandora gown from
House of Harlot and Shiny Moniree wore a pink sleeveless catsuit by
Simon O.

Suddenly the next show started. The models of
Torture Garden Clothing claimed the catwalk. The first things shown were their latest additions, the “Kill Bill” and racing catsuits. They all looked great! Number three model was
Sway! She looked very tall and beautiful as she quickly went up and down the catwalk. I cheered: Go! Sway! Go!
Kumi,
Darenzia and
Helen Lane where also in the show. The tempo was very high and the show was over in no time.
I also meet John of
Latexa Fashion, yet another fellow Dane. He presented me for a really sweet couple from Australia. They passionately told me about the fetish culture down under in Australia. It’s great to meet new people from abroad. That’s one of the things I love about these international events.

The next fashion show was
HW-Design. The show was a bizarre wedding. The music was really weird and psychedelic and the models was stumbling around with huge eyes like they where drugged or plain mad. The bride was rolled in by two bride maids, bound to a pole on a plate with wheels. All models, except the bride and groom was wearing transparent latex outfits. The bizarre couple were happily married and the supporting models toasted in urine from the tube from the bride’s pussy briefs. Then they where strapped up in straitjackets escorted out by some girls in transparent medical outfits. Great show!

In the early morning hours I danced with the rest of the gang and
Simon and
Manuella in one of the smaller dance floors. Manuella and Simon were wearing some really great matching rumba outfits with a ton of frills made from yellow and transparent yellow latex with pink linings. Wicked!
The clock was around five when I shared a taxi with
MissFuzzyBunny and Ken back to our hotel. Prew! What a party! I’m going to be back for more, next year!
