   A reader at the IA|R| asked if I know what may have happened to the US latex manufacturer Whiplash. Anyone up to date on them?

   Are you thinking of Syren, smiley?

   The Stockroom maintains the names of businesses they buy out (Syren, Stormy, Devious Toys). If Whiplash's web site is 404, then they probably folded.

   Youre prolly right. I just remember Whiplash disappearing overnight around the same time JT's was absorbing everything on the West Coast.
