Halloween brings out the weird, wild and kinky all over the world as newcomers to the scene feel free get their perv on, alongside the regular fetish party goers. For those looking to scare up some freaky fun, here are two more parties that look are sure to bring out the crowds in their respective cities.

First off is Florida's Fetish Factory Halloween Fetish Ball. Hosted at the Revolution night club in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Fetish Factory parties are world reknown for their high production value, fantastic performances and of course the beautiful crowds that come from all over to let their freak flag fly in the Florida heat. This years party includes performances by Rubberdoll, Paige Austin, Circ-X, and more. With a strict fetish dress code and a reputation for debauchery, this party sounds like it's going to be a good one.

Chicago's fetish scene doesn't get a great deal of attention, but there seems to be more and more kinky goings on in the windy city these days. The next big Chi-town bash is Devil's Night on October 30. Sponsored by Vex Clothing and hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies, Gi Gi Deluxe, Devil's Night features live body modification demonstrations, horror-rock from The Gravetones, play dungeon and all sorts of other bone-chilling attractions.

Russian born, American raised photographer Nadya Lev is only 24 years old, but has a lifetime of experience handed down from her father, photographer Yuri Lev. Nadya's photos seem to be everywhere lately, as she continues to expand on her impressive portfolio of colorful, ultra-glamorous, fetish fashion.

Along with her photography work, Nadya has been busy at work on her new blog, and soon to be released meat-space publication, Coilhouse. Informative, engaging updated frequently and simply cool on all levels, the worlds retro-future art, fashion, and alt-culture collide at Coilhouse. Nadya, along with co-conspirators Zoetica Ebb and Meredith Yayanos describe it best in the site's mission statement:

Ed Rothstein of the New York Times covers the "Kink: Geography of the Erotic Imagination," exhibit at the Museum of Sex in New York City. The exhibit, inspired by Katherine Gates (author of Deviant Desires: Incredibly Strange Sex) roadmap of the erotic world, spans the far reaches of human desires. Sponsered by lube makers, Pjur and Medical Toys, the exhibit includes displays on latex (Courtesy of Demask), inflatable, bondage, gender and animal transformation, medical-play, sploshing and a plethora of other naughy fascinations from the erotic smorgasbord of the human mind.

"Handle masks and examine props and accessories, all the while learning about the larger narrative themes that bind all human eroticisms together, from the most “vanilla” to the most kinky. Bring your camera or cell phone and document your journey into this erotic wonderland."

This is the most interactive exhibit the museum has displayed since it's inception. It's collection has grown exponentially since it's opening five years ago, with a number of revolving exhibits showcasing the many facets of the world of sex. The museum also regularly features guest lecturers, film showings, performances and other events. Located in Chelsea, just a stone's throw from many of New York City's finest purveyors of pervary (Such as Purple Passion), be sure to check it out on your next visit to Manhattan.

Latex Girls HD is a new paysite featuring fetish and glamour models wearing their favorite latex outfits. What makes the site unique is it's use of high definition video to provide the viewer with a picture even clearer than DVD quality video. Although a free sample video is not yet available, you can view a number of their videos on their Youtube channel. The site seems to focus on soft-core, glamour modeling shoots, but also features exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes videos and TV style vignettes promoting people, places and events in the UK fetish scene. Based on the overwhelmingly positive reception the Project Latexland exhibit at the Vernissage received from both gallery-goers and media alike, it would be safe to say that the series of shoots, photographed this past May and June, were a tremendous success. On a seriously tragic note, I picked up this piece of sad news off of the Fetiche School forum (thanks Observer):

While walking through Stubby Lee Park in Bacup, Lancashire UK, Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend, Robert Maltby were brutally attacked by a mob of thugs. While Maltby is recovering from the vicious beating, Lancaster slipped into a coma and died on August 24th. Police suggested that the victims of the attack were chosen because of their Gothic style of dress. Five members of the attack have been arrested and their trial will begin on October 18th, as police continue to investigate in order to find the remaining attackers and witnesses.

It's absolutely horrifying that such senseless brutality can be committed upon anyone, but to think that the victims were singled out for their dress is truly chilling. If you'd like to pay respects, and learn about the memorial fund the family is setting up her name, there is a page on Myspace for people to visit and send condolences.

Take nothing for granted folks. Life is precious and often all too short... Rest in peace Sophie.

Last year, acclaimed UK photographer Will Pearson lent his incredible panoramic vision to the world of fetish fashion, in a shoot for Yungfuktoi.

Pearson's interactive site places the viewer in the center of the scene and lets the you rotate the camera 360 degrees around to take in the entire breathtaking scene of (in this shoot) fetish decadance.

The Skin Two Rubber Ball weekend, the world's largest fetish event, is approaching fast folks. October 5th only about a few days away, so finish up your wardrobe details, solidify any last minute arrangements and get ready for a wild weekend!

The theme for this year's Skin Two Rubber Ball is "World of Fetish." German fetishwear and bondage makers, Blackstyle recently celebrated the reopening of their newly renovated and expanded retail space in Berlin.
