Saturday we visited the German Fetish Fair. The venue was a really cool old factory building in three levels. The basement floor was filled with fetish artworks and photos. The main floor with around 21 exhibitors and a little stage. On the last floor there was a restaurant where the visitors could get refreshments and hang out.

There was a nice range of latex designers among the exhibitors. Tiberius, HW-Design, Bondinage, Rubber's Finest and Torture Garden Clothing had some really great stuff on show. BodyCult really stood out with a great selection of clothing featuring in their unique latex textures and patterns. Did you know that they actually make the latex sheets themselves? Wicked! The rest of the exhibitors was various stores, studios, artists, book publishers and erotic toys makers.

There was some small performance shows and events at the stage during the afternoon. Most of my time was spend networking with designers and online friends. Among others I talked to Gixxi, Simon, Manuella, Alexander, Luci Fire, Sway, Valentina, Helen, Sandra, Tim and Tina. I had great time and took a lot of photos!

I'm currently in Berlin, attending the German Fetish Ball weekend. I arrived Thursday night together with MissFuzzyBunny and Ken. We are staying at a hostel called Generator with a huge load of youngsters.

We spent most of the Friday touring the tourist attractions of Berlin. Berlin is a quite different and diverse city due to all the booming during the second world war and the aftermath. There are new towering buildings right next to ruins of old houses and trees everywhere.

In the evening we teamed up with Shiny Moniree and her boyfriend Tom. A really sweet couple from Austria, that I got to know at last years RubberBall.

Friday night, we went to a pre-party at a club called Big Eden. It's a regular fetish club with a little stage and a "play land". There place was almost empty when we arrived and the club was not even close to full party peeked at 2 pm.
I noticed that the culture here is more hardcore that I know from other places. The main show at the club confirmed that; gay bdsm play, bondage, injection and needle torture! Bloody stuff! Not for the faint hearted!

The latex fashion seen here (with some expectations of course) are not as fashionable here. Very simple designs and "heavy rubber" tends to be the main trend. I wore my green army pants, transparent t-shirt and New Rock shoes.

Karin, Wanco, Hari, Jinmo and Hide picked me up at 9:45 pm in the Hotel lobby. They were really sweet and had brought some nice presents for me and my family.

Hide and I left for the restaurant in his car. Hide and I went to the nearby Shinjuku station to pick up a 24 year old American girl named Dawn, who was going to the party. On the way Dawn told me about her life as a English teacher in a small town west of Tokyo. She loves dressing up in costumes and Japanese school boys!

After a one hour drive we arrived at the so called "Rubber restaurant" in the suburbs of Tokyo. In the day time it's just a ordinary Italian/Japanese restaurant, but once a month it's the scene for a small private fetish gathering. The chef was a great guy with a great sense of humor. I brought him a gift, pair of pot holders made from heavy rubber, the perfect gift for a guy who goes under the nickname - the Rubber Chef!

I dressed up in my black latex jeans, long sleeved t-shirt and long matrix coat. There were around 20 people at the party and most of them were wearing latex. Hari, Karin and Wanco brought their own latex creations and I saw nice fashions from Skin Two, Libidex and BlackStyle.

Dinner was served. The Rubber Chef delivered a splendid range of Italian dishes and a desert of Japanese bean sweets. Yummy! During the dinner I talked with all the different people. It's great to exchange experiences and know how.

Karin and Wanco pulled out some huge balloons that they inflated with a vacuum cleaner. We had some great laughs after the first balloon exploded with a huge bang! But in the next try Wanco successfully wiggled his way into the inflated balloon. It looked like a huge rubber egg with person inside.

Later a Shibari expert joined the party and tried up some of the girls. I could not believe how good he was with his rope, and fast to! The girl called Marionette, who was wearing a cute little latex maid uniform, had a "handle" on her back so we could lift her from the ground or dragged around. Cool!

The party ended with a huge group photo at 5 am. I said goodby to everybody and received a huge pile of presents from all the guest. It had been a great night and I think everybody was tired. Hide gave me and Dawn a ride back to central Tokyo. What a cool party!

I have given up finding any classy latex fashion here in Tokyo. Sure I found some basic molded latex clothing in some sex stores, but the selection is small and nothing to write about. Last time I was here, I saw a cute school girl uniform, but sadly that store there had it is gone now. What a pity, I would have liked to take a photo of it for inspiration.

Anyway! Tonight is the big night! I'm going to a fetish party tonight. Naturally, I'm very excited about meeting my Japanese friends and hearing their story. I'm being picked up at 10 pm and I don't expect to be home before after drawn. I'm promise to have a great time and take some shiny photos for you guys!

Arrived to Tokyo yesterday. Everybody is extremely helpful and polite.

Yesterday we visited a district called "Harajuku" where a lot of the gothic kids hang out. There was punk and gothic shops all over. I also saw some nice boots shops too. The gothic fashion here is more cute that wild. They even have a gothic fashion magazine called (see scans here and here) Loads of PVC, frills, silk and lace... but no latex!

So today, I'm of to the district called "Roppongi" looking for a fetish shop there is supposed to have some latex clothing. Wish me luck!

I'm looking forward to seeing Sway and her boyfriend again at the German Fetish Ball later this month where she will walk the catwalk for Torture Garden Clothing.

In the weekend I'm leaving on a getaway trip to Tokyo (Japan) with my sweet wife. It primarily going be a shopping/sightseeing trip, but I will also devote some time to look into some of the kinky sides of Japan. Karin and Wanco have invited me to join them at a private fetish party on the 24. of May. I have always wanted to go to a fetish party in Tokyo! It's going to be so much fun!

When I get back from Japan, I'll be heavily jetlagged. Nevertheless, I'll head of to Berlin for some serious partying at the German Fetish Ball! I'm there from the 27. - 31. of May.

I am looking for a fetish minded cartoonist/comic artist, who is committed to bring a new latex minded cartoon project of mine to life.
