“Wilhelmusvlug aka run_paint_run [aka Pim] is an Amsterdam-based artist with a love for fetish, oil and canvas and underground alternative lifetyles. It was inevitable that these passions would come together. The result is a striking new series of fetish portraits in oil paint.”
run_paint_run’s art was on display at the 2008 Skin Two Rubber Ball, where I had the opportunity to meet the artist when I was introduced by fellow Amsterdam-based fetishist Mistress Erika. The artist himself struck me as very down to earth and modest in spite of his tremendous abilities. The art on display were near-photorealistic oil paintings of local fetishists, such as the painting on the right.
According to the artist’s MySpace profile, he is also shooting videos now for Wasteland. I can only assume that like the rest of his work, the results will be a superb new addition to the fetish community.
