“Dirty Step Upstage” is the directorial debut of independent filmmaker Amber Moelter.
The plot revolves around SupaNova, an aspiring English singer, is determined to become famous – at any cost. She is invited to attend a big music festival on the French Riviera by Tommy, a sleazy film producer, who has gone above and beyond in order to launch her career.
The fantastic long red latex dress seen in the dream sequences in the trailer is created by Laura Petrielli of Vex Clothing.
Shot on location in France, UK & USA, “Dirty Step Upstage” is a reality thriller that exposes the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry and the price of admission.
